Welcome: Good morning. My, oh, my! A little snow might just be creeping up on us. Tomorrow there could be a few inches, which will be nice, as it will replenish our rapidly dwindling supply. Of course most of my snow has melted, but scattered on the sides of the yard, the driveway, and the hidden crevices of darkness surrounding our property, some snow still remains...

Wednesday/January/14/2025

Welcome: Good morning. I was out with migraines, but now I am back. My sister told me of the hype for a snow day tomorrow. I don't think so. To get a single inch of snow would be a lot for tonight's precipitation event. Now I know that rain changing to snow with rapidly falling temperatures can be slippery, but I don't think it will warrant the entire day shut down. Tonight comes down to the crews clearing the roads. It should be fine, but on the off chance that it is not, I would give tomorrow an 11% chance of delays for school...

Tuesday/January/6/2025

Welcome: Good morning. I have been told that the roads were quite slippery yesterday afternoon. However, the real show will be tonight. I am predicting a 28% chance that the school day could be impaired tomorrow. This prediction is as of this minute, and most likely will change later on today. We are expecting a wintry mix with freezing rain as the primary threat. If the freezing rain really shows up - and it is known for being unreliable - then calling the roads slick will be the understatement of the new year...

Good morning! I was out sick with a migraine yesterday and Monday. Today I have a meeting, so there won’t be any forecast. However, I can say that if you like to play in the snow, play in the snow today. It will be warmer starting today, rainy on Friday. Strange weather for December…

Friday/December/12/2025

Welcome: Good morning. I had two jackets on this morning, a hat, and gloves. I don't believe I ever had two jackets on before, at least in my memory. Fair weather this weekend. Not amazing though. Cold temperatures Sunday night, bitterly cold. It is almost Winter Vacation, just a week away. It feels like it was just Thanksgiving. Thursday/December/11/2025

Welcome: Good morning. I was hoping for a delay this morning for school. I was in the mindset that snow might have continued into this morning. However, it seems to have cleared up late last night. It will get windy today. No widespread damage is expected, but small objects could be blown around. My dog sneaked out this morning, I was the culprit in opening the door. I thought I could get out without the dog following, I guess not. My sister handled it like a pro. She was already outside and immediately caught the dog and sent her back inside. Much thanks to my sister...
