Welcome: Good morning. The technical difficulties are over. I would like to thank Mr. White with the Pittsfield Public Schools for helping me to resolve this issue. You see, my website was blocked on my school Chromebook, so I could not post. Years ago I used my iPad, however, the school no longer allows outside devices on their wifi, so my school Chromebook is the only option. Luckily it is all fixed now. I got 10 inches from the blizzard on Monday, even though it was not a blizzard for us. We have got nice weather today and tomorrow, and then a cold start to March. It is good to be back...

Good evening everyone! I would not be posting if it were not an emergency, but I feel I should let you all know that we are in for some dangerous conditions tomorrow. With wind gusts around 40 mph and total snow accumulation of 8-12 inches for the Berkshires and 4-8 inches for Bennington County, travel will be extremely risky. The further south you are, the greater the danger. At times, blizzard conditions will be possible. For those in Connecticut and areas south of Albany in New York, Blizzard conditions could be frequent. This means, that the visibility will be reduced to 1/4 of a mile or less. I would not recommend travel tomorrow unless it is absolutely necessary. Enjoy the storm and stay safe…

Greetings! I am still having technical difficulties and they can only be resolved on the school’s end, and because school is on break, there still can be no Berkshire Weather forecasts. When I return to school after break, I am hoping for this to be resolved. Thank you all for your patience, and enjoy the possible rounds of wintry weather that will be brining in some light to moderate precipitation throughout the rest of this week. Cheers everyone…

Friday/January/23/2026

Good afternoon. I am still having technical difficulties, but I would have to be a hurricane in winter to miss this upcoming storm. We are in for a monster, at least that is what the forecast now is calling for. As of right now it looks like 1 to 2 feet. However, things can change, so I would not be celebrating just yet. Furthermore, the wind-chill tomorrow is going to get as low as -30. So, please stay inside tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday. Also, watch out, next weekend there might be another storm…

Tuesday/January/20/2026

Good morning. I can’t believe that snowstorm we had this past weekend! Our house received 8 inches of snow! I am blown away! Breathless! Winters up here are just unpredictable! In other news, I have midterms this week so I am not sure when and if there will be postings. To add to that, I seem to be having some technical difficulties, so there will be no forecast today. Cheer everyone…

Welcome: Good morning. My, oh, my! A little snow might just be creeping up on us. Tomorrow there could be a few inches, which will be nice, as it will replenish our rapidly dwindling supply. Of course most of my snow has melted, but scattered on the sides of the yard, the driveway, and the hidden crevices of darkness surrounding our property, some snow still remains...

Welcome: Good morning. No snow today. I did not even see any flakes coming down, just rain. We might end with some snow later today, but again little if any. I don't have much to say today. Just keep warm and bundled, because the rain and the cold temperatures can cause illness to spread...

Wednesday/January/14/2025

Welcome: Good morning. I was out with migraines, but now I am back. My sister told me of the hype for a snow day tomorrow. I don't think so. To get a single inch of snow would be a lot for tonight's precipitation event. Now I know that rain changing to snow with rapidly falling temperatures can be slippery, but I don't think it will warrant the entire day shut down. Tonight comes down to the crews clearing the roads. It should be fine, but on the off chance that it is not, I would give tomorrow an 11% chance of delays for school...

Friday/January/9/2025

Welcome: Good morning. Tomorrow night might be slippery. However, I don't think it will be too bad. There could also be some localized flooding from the rain this weekend.
