Welcome: Good morning. My prayers are with those in Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa will be bringing the island winds of over 150 mph, with gusts near 200 mph. Rainfall could be up to 40 inches in spots. Cuba is next in line for the storm, then The Bahamas, and potentially the Turks and Caicos and Bermuda as well. Haiti and the Dominican Republic are also getting hit by part of Melissa. May all those impacted recover swiftly, and may more lives not be lost to the storm...

Welcome: Good morning. Not much rain with that nor'easter over the weekend. I expected that. However, I was quite surprised with the wind. My dad and I worked on a drainage system for our garden, it is just made of some rocks and dirt. Hopefully if heavy rain does ever arrive, the water will be able to flow down the yard without brining the garden with it. Just a heads up, I won't be doing the foecast Thursday or Friday.
