Tropical Forecast: We have four areas to watch.
1. Tropical Depression Ida will impact our area tomorrow and Thursday. Heavy rain is likely, Ida will then turn subtropical and leave the region because of an incoming frontal system.
2. Tropical Storm Kate is in the middle of the Atlantic. It poses little threat to anyone other than sailors near it.
3. A low pressure system is producing organized showers and thunderstorms. It is southeast of the Cabo Verde Islands. I give it a yes or 100% at development.
Hazards Summary: Heavy rain and gusty winds may cause very isolated power outages.
Notable Amounts: I got 1.22 inches of rain from yesterday‘s thunderstorms.
