Tropical Forecast: We have four areas to watch.
1. Tropical Depression Ida will impact our area today into tomorrow, it will bring heavy rain to the Northeast. It will then merge with a front and be swept away.
2. Tropical Depression Kate is in the middle of the Atlantic. It poses little threat, it will also slowly weaken.
3. Tropical Storm Larry is south of the Cabo Verde Islands. We must monitor where is goes to determine if it will make it to the US.
4. A broad area of low pressure is disorganized. It is in the Caribbean Sea. I give it a small chance of development.
Hazards Summary: Heavy rain will lead to flash flooding. The potential of flash flooding increases as you go south. In all 3 to 6 inches is expected, with isolated higher amounts.
