Alert: Winter Weather Advisory for Northern Berkshire County. So if you live around Pittsfield or north you are included. The advisory lasts until 7:00 AM tomorrow.

Timing: The storm will transition to snow this afternoon and last through the evening. It will slowly diminish after the evening. Winds will be gusty through tomorrow.

Snow: Snow could be heavy at times. Up to an inch per hour is possible. It will mainly be wet snow with some regular snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible for areas south of the Pittsfield area. Total snow accumualtions of 2 to 6 inches are expected for the Pittsfield area north. Finally if you live in high terrain so 1500 feet or higher you could see up to 10 inches of snow.

Sleet: Not expected.

Freezing Rain: Not expected.

Wind: 10 to 20 mph, with gusts to 40 mph.

Blowing Snow: Scattered to widespread blowing snow is likely.

Hazards Summary: White out conditions may occur in areas. A few power outages will be possible. Roads will be slippery as there could be a quick changeover from rain to snow.
