Welcome: Good morning. I am visiting my great-grandma who is 100 and I will have to do a shorter report today and likely tomorrow. I hope you all enjoy it as this is a briefing on our upcoming snowstorm…
Alert: None yet.
Timing: Depending on if a second storm starts or how far our first storm goes it will likely be all snow. Snow starts late Thursday night and will fall heavily. There is a chance for a wintry mix Friday morning but it seems unlikely at this time. All snow and wintry mix end Friday night.
Snow: Widespread snow is expected. This is a rough forecast so take it with a grain of salt. I expect 6 to 12 inches of snow.
Sleet: Isolated sleet is possible, sleet amounts are part of snow amounts.
Freezing Rain: Very isolated freezing rain is possible, up to a light glaze is expected.
Peak Wind: 5 to 15 mph, coming from the Northeast.
Blowing Snow: Not expected.
Hazards Summary: It will be very dangerous to travel. This could be the biggest widespread snow event this winter. I will keep you updated.
Snow Day Calculator: Not available.
Anything Else: I hope you all stay safe. Please comment and like, thank you. Have an amazing day. I hope all goes your way. So let today be your very best day. Cheers everyone!
Have a great visit with your great grandma. I bet she loves to see you. She should be very proud of you. Thanks for all the hard work you put into your reports.
