Welcome: Good morning. Today will be a briefing-type post. We have to watch for some snow squalls and some gusty winds today and tonight. Tomorrow morning will have some very cold wind chills…

Timing: As a strong cold front moves through the region snow showers will develop during the afternoon. Next in the evening snow squalls will begin too. Finally, by late tonight it all ends.

Snow: Scattered to widespread snow showers are expected. Isolated to scattered snow squalls are also expected. Up to an inch of snow is possible.

Peak Wind: 10 to 20 mph, with gusts to 45 mph, coming from the West.

Blowing Snow: Not expected.

Hazards Summary: It will be very dangerous to travel at times. Whiteout conditions are likely in snow squalls. Remember snow squalls can change conditions rapidly.
