Alert: A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for all of Berkshire County until 1:00 AM tomorrow (Sunday.)
Timing: Right now it should be a rain/snow mix or plain snow. We should all be fully snow by later this morning. It will get very heavy at times. By very very late tonight it should all be done.
Snow: Generally 6 to 12 inches of snow is expected.
Sleet: Not expected.
Freezing Rain: Not expected.
Peak Wind: 15 to 25 mph, with gusts to 50 mph, coming from the Northwest.
Blowing/Drifting Snow: Widespread blowing and drifting snow is expected.

Hazards Summary: It will be very dangerous to travel. Please bring emergency supplies if you are traveling during the storm. It will be snowing very heavy, so white out conditions are possible. Do not strain your back shoveling wet snow, take breaks, and stay hydrated. This heavy snow and wind may cause power outages and/or tree damage.
