ALERT: A Heat Advisory is in effect for Northern and Southern Berkshire County, from Noon today going until 8:00 PM tonight. Please be cautious of heat related illness. A Heat Advisory is not in effect for Bennington County.
COMFORT INDEX: Humid.
TEMPERATURE: Highs in the lower to mid 90s. Lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Timing: The heat, as well as, the severe storms each start in the afternoon and end at night.
Amount Of Storms: Isolated to widespread non-severe thunderstorms will be likely. Isolated to widely scattered severe thunderstorms are possible.
Tornados: Not expected.
Hail: Extremely isolated severe hail is possible.
Wind: Some non-severe wind gusts are likely. Isolated to widely scattered severe wind gusts of 58 mph or greater are possible.
Flooding: Extremely isolated flooding is possible.
Hazards Summary: Severe wind can damage houses, cars, trees, and your life. Please be cautious, and remember, if you hear thunder, lightning can hit you. Drink water and stay cool. Be aware of how you and your surrounding peers feel.
