Welcome: Good morning. We have a multi hazard event starting today. Remember, I can not stress this enough, tomorrow a flash freeze is looking likely during the afternoon or evening. Alert: A Flood Watch has been issued for both Bennington County and Berkshire County. It begins tomorrow at 7:00 AM and goes until Saturday 7:00 AM.

A High Wind Warning has been issued for Bennington County. It begins at 10:00 PM tonight and goes until 6:00 PM tomorrow.

A Wind Advisory has been issued for Berkshire County. It begins at 10:00 PM tonight and goes until 6:00 PM tomorrow.

Finally, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Bennington County and Northern Berkshire County. It begins at 4:00 PM today and goes until 5:00 AM tomorrow.

Timing: We should all begin to see precipitation this afternoon. Some will see rain while other a rain/snow mix. By late tonight we will all have heavy rain occurring. This heavy rain will continue until tomorrow afternoon, then during tomorrow afternoon a transition to snow is expected. The snow will go until tomorrow evening.

Snow: Scattered snow is likely. A coating to 3 inches is likely for most. A few in the warmest of areas will not see any accumulation, and some in the highest of areas could see 6 inches.

Sleet: Not expected.

Freezing Rain: Isolated freezing rain could mix in.

Rain: Widespread rain is likely. Some spots may reach 2 inches of rainfall.

Thunder: Not expected.

Peak Wind: 15 to 35 mph, with gusts to 60 mph. Coming from the Southeast.

Blowing/Drifting Snow: Not expected.

Hazards Summary: Roads will be slippery at the beginning and end of the event in some areas. Scattered tree damage and power outages are possible. Isolated flooding is also possible. Strongest winds will occur in the higher elevations.
