A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect, for Berkshire County, until 7:00 PM tonight.

A Snow Emergency is in effect for Pittsfield until 7:00 AM Wednesday.

Timing: Widespread snow will continue throughout the day. Towards the evening it will begin to end for all. The snow should fall lightly for most of the time. However, steadily falling snow is still likely at times.

Snow: Widespread snow is likely. For Bennington and westwards, as well as Pittsfield and westwards, 3 to 7 inches is expected in total. For areas east of both Pittsfield and Bennington, 6 to 10 inches is expected in total.

Sleet: Not expected.

Freezing Rain: Not expected.

Rain: Not expected.

Thunder: Not expected.

Peak Wind: (Today) 5 to 15 mph, with gusts to 30 mph. Coming from the East Southeast.
