Welcome: Good morning. I found this really cool family heirloom at my grandpa’s house. It is an old fashioned weather station. At first, from a distance, I thought it was a clock, but then I looked closer. It spins, so you can see the temperature, or pressure, humidity, and more. There are different sides to it. It came from my great-grandfather. His first name was Jacob, but people called him Jack. I was named after him. I wrote a 90 paged book about his part of the family. I am not fully certain how to post a photo of the weather station, but I will try. The photo should be at the end of this post. It is one of the coolest family heirlooms I have ever seen.   2. Wow! That IS cool!! Hang on to that. A very special heirloom from your great grandfather given your interest in weather. Good luck in your genealogy research. Bringing back long forgotten family history is a nice way to honor your ancestors.
