Welcome: Good morning. It has been a wonderful journey to forecast your weather and share my life with all of you. I never expected in my earliest years that I would have a blog with such wonderful and dedicated followers such as yourselves. I thank you all so much for reading and sticking with me, even through my brain injury and its continuing migraines. It has been my honor to write for all of you. Even though I am retiring from Berkshire Weather today, the support you all have shared with me will remain present forever. I can't guarantee that there will never be another Bekrshire Weather post, but I would give it the equivalent likelihood of having snow in summer. I wrote a poem to honor today. Poem: The Rain
The rains of time cloak the grass
in mist of age the sky grows thick
It pours on the gentle ground
A small green bud on its way
but will it see the light of day?
Fear not said the sun who pushed the clouds aside
The warmth of light glides against the plants leaves
With time gone by a dryness takes over
the grounds become hollow
yet raindrops do follow
From orange-brown green does return
water to clench the mighty burn
No scorch of sun nor flood of rain
can defeat the eternal plain
As time goes by who still remains?
