Welcome: Good morning. There was no post yesterday because the Wi-Fi went out. Here I am though, back at it again today. We will have to see if I stay connected to the internet. The weather was great yesterday. My dad and I took a walk around the neighborhood. That was really nice. I have missed walking with my father, because in winter it is cold, dark, and snowy. So now that spring is here we can get back to our exercise and spend more time together. A great way to open up the month of March I'd say...

Thursday/March/5/2026

Welcome: Good morning. We are in for a treat tomorrow - it will be a mystery box of weather. I am leaning towards sleet for those of us in Pittsfield, but rain, snow, and freezing rain are also possible, if not likely! A real wintry mix will be consuming Berkshire County and Bennington County. Roads will be hazardous from icing, and also from unpredictability. Various towns and elevations will have differing weather. My advice is to use caution tomorrow while driving, and if you can, please just stay off the roads. Ice can be difficult to impossible to detect, so you might not even know when the real ride will begin. Be careful, and look forward to the warmer temperatures next week...

Welcome: Good morning. The technical difficulties are over. I would like to thank Mr. White with the Pittsfield Public Schools for helping me to resolve this issue. You see, my website was blocked on my school Chromebook, so I could not post. Years ago I used my iPad, however, the school no longer allows outside devices on their wifi, so my school Chromebook is the only option. Luckily it is all fixed now. I got 10 inches from the blizzard on Monday, even though it was not a blizzard for us. We have got nice weather today and tomorrow, and then a cold start to March. It is good to be back...

Sunday/February/22/2026

Good evening everyone! I would not be posting if it were not an emergency, but I feel I should let you all know that we are in for some dangerous conditions tomorrow. With wind gusts around 40 mph and total snow accumulation of 8-12 inches for the Berkshires and 4-8 inches for Bennington County, travel will be extremely risky. The further south you are, the greater the danger. At times, blizzard conditions will be possible. For those in Connecticut and areas south of Albany in New York, Blizzard conditions could be frequent. This means, that the visibility will be reduced to 1/4 of a mile or less. I would not recommend travel tomorrow unless it is absolutely necessary. Enjoy the storm and stay safe…

Tuesday/February/17/2026

Greetings! I am still having technical difficulties and they can only be resolved on the school’s end, and because school is on break, there still can be no Berkshire Weather forecasts. When I return to school after break, I am hoping for this to be resolved. Thank you all for your patience, and enjoy the possible rounds of wintry weather that will be brining in some light to moderate precipitation throughout the rest of this week. Cheers everyone…

Friday/January/23/2026

Good afternoon. I am still having technical difficulties, but I would have to be a hurricane in winter to miss this upcoming storm. We are in for a monster, at least that is what the forecast now is calling for. As of right now it looks like 1 to 2 feet. However, things can change, so I would not be celebrating just yet. Furthermore, the wind-chill tomorrow is going to get as low as -30. So, please stay inside tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday. Also, watch out, next weekend there might be another storm…

Tuesday/January/20/2026

Good morning. I can’t believe that snowstorm we had this past weekend! Our house received 8 inches of snow! I am blown away! Breathless! Winters up here are just unpredictable! In other news, I have midterms this week so I am not sure when and if there will be postings. To add to that, I seem to be having some technical difficulties, so there will be no forecast today. Cheer everyone…
