Forecast: Today will be partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 80s. Lows will be in the upper 60s. Some of the storms may contain heavy rain.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with scattered showers. Highs in the low 90s. Lows in the lower 70s. It will be very humid.

Then on Thursday we can expect mostly sunny conditions. Highs in the low to mid 90s. Lows in the low 70s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. 
 
Air quality forecast: Today has very good air everywhere. Tomorrow has isolated pockets of moderate air. So tomorrow just be aware if you are sensitive that the air is not perfect.

Tropical: We have one area to watch. 

1. Potential Tropical Cyclone Six. PTC-6 will likely turn into a tropical storm today or tonight. It will impact parts of the Caribbean including Puerto Rico today and the Dominican Republic tomorrow. If you have friends or family in Florida you should alert them that it may eventually hit Florida. I give it a yes or 100% at development.  

Precipitation: Scattered showers and thunderstorms until this weekend.  Today some showers and storms may contain heavy rain. Chance of rain today and this week is 50%.

UV and light index: This week will be partly sunny at times. I would give the time to burn about 3 hours if in direct sunlight with no protection.

Wind: 5 to 10 miles per hour with gusts up to 15 miles per hour.

Hazards: Lightning with thunderstorms and localized heavy rain. 

Notable amounts: No notable amounts of precipitation.

Far forecast: This week will be partly sunny with showers and thunderstorms. Next week will be warm and very dry. The week after next week will be very warm and dry.

Heat Index: This week will be very hot and humid. If you feel dizzy, very hot or dry go inside. Try to reschedule appointments if possible to be inside or another day. Don’t let pets or children be in a hot car alone. If you have a heat stroke call 911, it is an emergency!  

Anything to mention: Heat advisory’s are active throughout all of Berkshire County for tomorrow from 11 AM to 8 PM. There is a marginal risk of severe weather on Thursday. Have a joyous day.
