Then on Friday we can expect mostly sunny conditions. Highs in the lower 90s. Lows in the upper 60s. A medium chance of showers in the evening.

Tropical: We have two areas to watch.
1. Tropical Storm Fred has formed. It will be riding towards and over the Dominican Republic today or tonight. Florida is in the hurricane cone, so alert any one you know in Florida to be aware of this.
2. A tropical wave southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands could form into a tropical depression later this week. It has some shower and thunderstorm activity. I give it about a medium chance of development.

UV and light index: This week will be sunny frequently. I would give the time to burn about 2 hours if in direct sunlight with no protection.
Wind: 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Hazards: Lightning with thunderstorms.
Notable amounts: No notable amounts of precipitation.
Far forecast: This week will be mostly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Next week will be mild and very dry. The week after next week will be hot and dry.
Heat Index: Today through Friday will be very hot and humid. If you feel dizzy or hot go inside. Try to reschedule appointments if possible to be inside or another day. Don’t let pets or children be in a hot car alone. If you have a heat stroke call 911, it is an emergency!
Anything to mention: Heat advisory’s are active throughout all of Berkshire County for today from 11 AM to 8 PM. There is a marginal risk of severe weather on Thursday and Friday. Have a greatly amazing day.
