Tropical Forecast: We have four areas to watch.
1. Hurricane Larry will be nearing Bermuda in the coming hours. Larry will bring rough surf and a rip current risk to most of the eastern seaboard of the US. Larry will then go into parts of Canada and become subtropical.
2. Tropical Depression Mindy formed late yesterday as Tropical Storm Mindy. This storm made landfall in the Florida Panhandle quickly after forming. Mindy has weakened into a Tropical Depression and will likely remain weak as if moves out of Florida and to sea.
3. There is a tropical wave that is expected to form. This will be over the Bay of Campeche. I give it a small chance of development.
4. A tropical wave is expected to move off of Africa’s west coast. It will then move near the Cabo Verde Islands. I give it a medium chance of development.
Notable Amounts: I got 0.88 of an inch of rain from yesterday’s storms.
