Welcome: Good morning. Last night the MCS or Mesoscale Convective System weakened faster than some meteorologists and myself thought it would. I know that some places still did get heavy rain in the Berkshires. Remember just because you may not get hit by storms regularly, you can still get hit by storms eventually. Now into the forecast we go.

Today: Turning sunny.

TEMPERATURE: Highs in the low to mid 70s. Lows in the low to mid 50s.

WIND: 5 to 10 mph.

PRECIPITATION: A very isolated shower is possible.

Tomorrow: Partly sunny.

TEMPERATURE: Highs in the mid 70s. Lows in the lower 60s.

WIND: 5 mph, with gusts to 10 mph.

Day 3: Partly cloudy.

TEMPERATURE: Highs in the lower 80s. Lows in the upper 50s.

WIND: 5 mph.

PRECIPITATION: Widespread thunderstorms, scattered severe thunderstorms in the afternoon.

HAZARDS SUMMARY: Lightning, heavy rain, and severe wind gusts.

6 To 10 Day Forecast: Read Below.

TEMPERATURE: Far above average.

PRECIPITATION: Below average.

Tropical Forecast: We have three areas to watch.

1. Tropical Storm Nicholas formed near Texas and Mexico. It will bring rains of up to 15 inches, and winds of tropical storm force. It will then move inland through Texas into Louisiana.

2. A tropical wave will move off of Africa today. It will move west, and be south of the Cabo Verde Islands. I give it a high chance of development.

3. An area of low pressure should for near the Bahamas. It will move north. I give it a medium chance of development.

Notable Amounts: I got 0.21 of an inch of rain from yesterday’s storms.

Anything to Mention: Have an amazing day.
