HAZARDS SUMMARY: An isolated tornado or two, scattered severe wind gusts, isolated severe hail, cloud-to-ground lightning, and isolated to scattered flash flooding.

Tropical Forecast: We have three areas to watch. 

1. Tropical Storm Nicholas will bring flooding rains to Louisiana, with widespread amounts over 4 inches. A storm surge threat will be on the Texas coast. With tropical storm force winds for the Texas coast as well.

2. A tropical wave is producing disorganized thunderstorms. It is southeast of the Cabo Verde Islands. I give it a high chance of development.

3. An area of low pressure should form due to the interaction between an upper level trough and tropical wave. It will move north of the Bahamas. I give it a medium chance of development.
