TEMPERATURE: Slightly above average.
PRECIPITATION: Average.
Tropical Forecast: We have four areas to watch.
1. Tropical Depression Eighteen turned into Hurricane Sam. Sam is expected to turn into a major hurricane. We will have to watch for potential impacts to the east coast. However, it is to far out right now to know much.
2. The Remnants of Odette are a non-tropical storm with limited shower and thunderstorm activity. It is over 600 miles northwest of the Azores. I give it a medium chance of redevelopment.
3. A surface and upper level trough is producing some showers and thunderstorms. It is over 100 miles east of Bermuda. I give it a small chance of development.
4. A tropical wave is forecast to have an environment that will allow some slow development. This wave will move off of Africa by early next week. I give it a medium chance of development.
Notable Amounts: So far I received 2.28 inches of rain from the cold front, tomorrow I will give the storm total.
Anything to Mention: Have an amazing day.
