Tropical Forecast: We have two areas to watch.
1. Usually I do not cover hurricanes in the Eastern Pacific but today I will. Hurricane Pamela briefly weakened but now will make landfall as a hurricane in Mexico. It will bring heavy rain to Texas. We will have to watch it‘s remnants for possible showers. This will be the last time I mention Pamela unless it‘s forecast changes greatly.
2. A low pressure area is still disorganized. It is near the southern Bahamas. I give it a small chance of development.
