Welcome: Good morning. Though it may be looking as if our storm may not come, forecasts sometimes go back to the original outcome right before a big storm. Right now I think the storm would start Friday very early morning and last until Friday late afternoon, snow amounts are still not certain. Also, this is a briefing-type post for today…

Alert: Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all of Berkshire County until 11:00 AM today.

Timing: In the morning a light wintry mix is expected, changing to scattered rain by the afternoon.

Snow: Scattered to widespread snow is possible, little to no accumulation is expected.

Sleet: Isolated to widely scattered sleet is possible, little to no accumulation is expected.

Freezing Rain: Scattered freezing drizzle or freezing rain is possible, with up to a light glaze of ice possible.

Wind: 10 to 15 mph, with gusts to 35 mph.

Blowing Snow: Not expected.

Hazards Summary: Some spots could be slippery.

Anything Else: I hope you all stay safe. Please comment on what you see, thank you. Have an amazing day. I hope all goes your way. So let today be your very best day.
