Alert: Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all of Berkshire County from 12:00 AM tomorrow until 12:00 PM tomorrow.
Timing: Snow will start late tonight, its peak intensity should be during the morning commute, then snow will turn to snow showers while gradually ending in the afternoon.
Snow: Widespread snow is likely. Generally, I see 2 to 6 inches. Depending on the track and strength we could see less or more.
Sleet: Not expected.
Freezing Rain: Not expected.
Wind: In the late morning winds will pick up to be 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
Blowing Snow: Isolated to scattered blowing snow is possible.
Hazards Summary: Watch out for very slippery spots. Isolated power outages are possible. A few whiteout conditions may occur. This event has my eye since its peak will impact the morning commute.
