Welcome: Good morning. Today will be a briefing-type post. I am feeling a little better today. Thank you to all who wished me well and to all who have supported me…

Alert: Winter Storm Warning in effect for all of Berkshire County from 10:00 PM tonight to 10:00 PM tomorrow night.

Timing: Everyone should start as heavy snow tonight. Next tomorrow morning and afternoon will cause varying weather for different places. The higher terrain means the stronger the winds and the more snow you will have. For lower terrain expect weaker winds and less snow.

Snow: Widespread snow is expected. You can generally expect 4 to 12 inches. Some higher amounts may occur in higher terrain.

Sleet: Scattered to widespread sleet is expected, sleet accumulations are part of snow accumulations.

Freezing Rain: Scattered to widespread freezing rain is expected, I see up to a tenth of an inch in accumulation.

Wind: 20 to 40 mph, with gusts to 60 mph, expect winds that are on the weaker end of this if you live in lower terrain.

Blowing Snow: Widespread blowing snow is expected.

Hazards Summary: It will be dangerous to travel, especially tomorrow morning. Whiteout conditions are expected in some spots. Power outages may also occur. Tree branches may break.

Snow Day Calculator: Not available.

Anything Else: I hope you all stay safe. Please comment on what you see, thank you. Have an amazing day. I hope all goes your way. So let today be your very best day.
