Welcome: Good morning. This will be a briefing-type post for tonight into tomorrow’s event. Also, I thought you all would find this interesting that Berkshire Weather now has 224 email subscribers! So I thank everyone single one of you for being part of the Berkshire Weather community…
Alert: Wind Chill Advisory in effect for all of Berkshire County from 7:00 PM tonight to 10:00 AM tomorrow.
Timing: An arctic cold front will move through today. It will bring very cold and potentially dangerous wind chills from tonight through tomorrow late morning or afternoon. At that time it may be less dangerous but still extremely cold. Finally in the late tomorrow afternoon through Saturday morning, another dangerously cold period is expected.
Precipitation: Not expected.
Wind: 5 to 10 mph, with gusts to 15 mph.
Wind Chills: Lowest wind chills could range from negative 15 to negative 35.
Hazards Summary: If you do not have to go outside tomorrow that would be ideal. Even though it will be sunny it will be dangerously cold at times. Hypothermia and frostbite will be possible in as little as 30 minutes.
Snow Day Calculator: I give a 57% chance of a freeze day or delay tomorrow.
Anything Else: I hope you all stay safe. Have an amazing day. I hope all goes your way. So let today be your very best day. Also, please don’t forget to comment and like, thank you. We are hoping for the best and prepared for the worst.
Thank you! I love your daily reports!
