Alert: A Winter Storm Watch will go into effect, for Berkshire County and Bennington County, from 2:00 PM Monday going until 8:00 AM Wednesday.
Timing: Scattered morning snow tomorrow will develop into steady rain and/or snow tomorrow afternoon. Everyone should see a full transition to just heavy snow tomorrow night. This heavy snow will continue into Tuesday night. Scattered snow showers are here on Wednesday. Everything is done Wednesday night.
Snow: Widespread wet snow is likely. I expect 1 to 2 feet of wet snow in total. Some in the highest terrain could reach near 3 feet of wet snow.
Sleet: Not expected.
Freezing Rain: Not expected.
Rain: Scattered rain is likely. Rainfall amounts will depend on how much mixes into the snow.
Thunder: Not expected.
Peak Wind: (Tuesday) 15 to 25 mph, with gusts to 45 mph. Coming from the North Northeast .
Low Temperatures During the Event: (Monday night) The lower 30s.
High Temperatures During the Event: (Tuesday) The lower to mid 30s.
