Alert: A Winter Storm Warning will go into effect, for Berkshire County and Bennington County, from 5:00 PM today going until 8:00 AM Wednesday.
Timing: Scattered rain and snow this morning will become widespread rain this afternoon. During the evening widespread snow and rain can be expected. Tonight heavy snow can be expected which will continue through Tuesday night. Scattered snow on Wednesday, everything is done Wednesday night.
Snow: Widespread wet snow is likely. I expect 1 to 2 feet of wet snow in total. A few in the highest terrain could reach near 3 feet of wet snow.
Sleet: Not expected.
Freezing Rain: Not expected.
Rain: Widespread rain is likely. Little to no rainfall expected.
Thunder: Not expected.
Peak Wind: (Wednesday) 15 to 35 mph, with gusts to 50 mph. Coming from the Northwest.
