Welcome: Good morning. I have had 2 snow days in a row, this storm really gave some surprises. In total I received 21 inches of snow. That is a lot of snow. I also saw a lot of twigs and branches down. A few limbs were even down…

Alert: A Wind Advisory is in effect, for Berkshire County and Bennington County, until 4:00 PM today.

A Local Travel Advisory is in effect for Pittsfield today. The city is recommending to stay off the road unless it is an emergency.

A Snow Emergency is in effect for Pittsfield until 7:00 PM tonight.

Timing: Scattered light snow and flurries are expected throughout the day today.

Snow: New snowfall amounts will be up to an inch for the Berkshires and up to 3 inches for Bennington County.

Sleet: Not expected. 

Freezing Rain: Not expected.

Rain: Not expected.

Thunder: Not expected.

Peak Wind: (Today) 15 to 25 mph, with gusts to 45 mph. Coming from the Northwest.

Blowing/Drifting Snow: Scattered blowing/drifting snow is possible.

Hazards Summary: Roads will be dangerous. Do not touch downed power lines. Scattered new tree damage and power outages are possible. Be careful.
