Welcome: Good morning. We have a lot to discuss. I believe if you live in the eastern part of the Berkshires or eastern part of Bennington County you could see some impactful ice accumulations. We will have to see what plays out today and tonight…

Sleet: Isolated sleet is possible.
Freezing Rain: Scattered freezing rain is likely. I expect less than 1/10 of an inch of ice to accumulate for most. Yet again some people on the eastern parts of the Berkshires and Bennington County may receive 1/10 to 2/10 of an inch of ice, with 1/4 of an inch not out of the question.

Tuesday/January/24/2023/PM Update
I just wanted to give a super quick update. I have just learned that the Pittsfield Public School District has called a half day for all students tomorrow Wednesday January 25. This is due to the earlier onset of the predicted snow. This means that other schools may call an early dismissal/half day for tomorrow.
Just to also make sure you all understand, the Pittsfield Public Schools have also cancelled all after school activities tomorrow too. One final note, Allendale Elementary in Pittsfield will be closed all day tomorrow due to a sewage blockage and no running water. I hope this information helps. Cheers everyone.

Welcome: Good morning. So far this storm has gone right on track for me. I received an icy mix last night and now some snow is falling. It is a little slippery, so be careful as there is a layer of slushy partially frozen ice below the snow. The new big question is: will Sunday night and Wednesday night be too warm for heavy snow accumulations? We will have to see…
Alert: A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect, for both Berkshire and Bennington County, going until 7:00 PM tonight.
Timing: Currently it should be snowing for most. As we continue through the day snow will fall steadily at times. However once we hit the afternoon snow will begin to mix with rain. All precipitation should be done by late tonight.

Welcome: Good morning. We have many canons firing all at once. We have a winter event expected tomorrow, a snowstorm Sunday night, and another storm Wednesday. Much uncertainty is remaining about tomorrow’s winter event, this is because if temperatures change just a few degrees the whole storm will be impacted…
Alert: A Winter Weather Advisory is going into effect, for both Berkshire and Bennington County, starting 11:00 AM today and going until 7:00 PM tomorrow.
Also, I do know a Snow Emergency has been issued for Pittsfield.

As we move into the night a wintry mix of freezing rain, snow, and rain is possible. Tomorrow should be a mix of rain and snow. By tomorrow night precipitation should have ended.
Snow: Widespread snow is likely. Most of us should receive 2 to 4 inches of snow. Some in the valleys may get only a coating, while others in the mountains could reach 6 inches.
Sleet: Scattered to widespread sleet is likely. Sleet amounts are calculated into snowfall amounts.
Freezing Rain: Scattered freezing rain is likely. Most should only reach up to one tenth of an inch (0.1) of ice, but a few could reach near two tenths of an inch (0.2) of ice.
