Then on Monday we can expect mostly sunny conditions. Highs in the mid 80s. Lows in the low to mid 60s.

Air quality forecast: Today and tomorrow should have relatively ok air however if you are very sensitive to the air quality you may experience some dizziness and coughing. It will be ok to go outside just be aware of your breathing.

Tropical: We have three areas to watch.

1. A broad area of low pressure south of the Cabo Verde Islands is producing some showers and thunderstorms. As it moves west it may become a tropical depression. I give it a small chance of development.

2. A small well defined area of low pressure west of the Cabo Verde Islands is producing some showers and thunderstorms. As it moves northwest it may develop into a tropical depression. I give it a small chance of development.

3. A tropical wave located in the west central tropical Atlantic is producing limited shower and thunderstorm activity. Development seems unlikely. I give it a little to no chance of development.

Rain: Today and tomorrow and then Wednesday through Friday we will have to watch for isolated to scattered shower and thunderstorm activity. Nothing much is expected other than summer showers and storms.

UV and light index: Today will be mostly sunny so put on your sunscreen and sun lotion if you will be in the sun. I give you about 1 hour and 45 minutes to burn if you are in direct sunlight with no protection.

Wind: 5 miles per hour with gusts up to 10 miles per hour.

Hazards: No large hazards expected however thunderstorms can bring lightning and localized heavy rain.

Notable amounts: No notable amounts of precipitation.

Far forecast: This week will be partly sunny. Next week will be warm and slightly humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms. The week after next week will be warm and humid, with some rain or showers.

Air quality forecast: Today and tomorrow should have relatively good air however if you are very sensitive to the air quality or have breathing problems you may experience some dizziness or coughing. It will not be unhealthy but if you are sensitive you should monitor if you need to stay inside.

Tropical: We have two areas to watch.

1. A tropical wave interacting with a trough of low pressure south of the Cabo Verde Islands is producing thunderstorms and showers. As it moves east of the Cabo Verde Islands it may develop into a tropical depression. I give it a medium chance of development.

2. The next area is a trough of low pressure that is producing a few showers and thunderstorms. As it moves east of the Lesser Antilles it may slowly develop into a tropical depression. I give it a small chance of development.

Rain: Saturday night through Thursday there is a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. I give it about 45% chance of happening. The rain will not mess up your whole day. One day you may not experience rain while other days you may. Usually the showers and thunderstorms will be in the afternoon to early evening.

UV and light index: Today will be sunny so put on your sunscreen and sun lotion if you will be in the sun. I give you about 1 hour and 15 minutes to burn if you are in direct sunlight with no protection.

Anything to mention: Have a super fantastic day!

Thursday August 5th

Forecast: Today will be mostly cloudy throughout the county. Tomorrow will be very sunny and hot. Finally the day after tomorrow seems to be partly sunny and very humid.

Air quality forecast: Today and tomorrow will have amazing air. Go outside and have some fun.

Tropical: We have two areas to watch.

1. The first area is a tropical wave producing thunderstorms and showers off the coast of Africa. The environment seems to be somewhat conducive for development into a tropical depression or storm. I give it a medium chance of development.

2. The next area is another tropical wave producing a few showers and thunderstorms. It is southeast of the Lesser Antilles. It could slowly develop into a tropical depression. I give it a small chance of development.

Rain: Today we may see some light sprinkles around the county, however there seems to be more of a chance or rain Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and possibly Wednesday. It is about a 50% we will get any rain those days and about 15% chance for today. If it does rain Monday through Wednesday it will be scattered showers and thunderstorms at most. No heavy rainstorms in sight.

UV and light index: We will have to watch tomorrow and Saturday because they seem to favor the most sun. Tomorrow I would give about 1 hour and a half to burn if not protected and if you are in direct sunlight. Saturday would be 2 hours to burn if not protected and in direct sunlight.

Air quality forecast: Today and tomorrow will have very good air quality. You can spend time outside without worrying.

Tropical: We have three areas to watch.

1. The first is a low pressure system passing over the Cabo Verde Islands off of Africa. That one I would give no chance at development due to wind shear and cool waters. However the Cabo Verde Islands could have gusty winds and heavy rain.

2. The next one is a tropical wave that will some point move near the Caribbean and Lesser Antilles. Once it reaches the Lesser Antilles some slow development will be possible. I give it a small chance of development.

3. Finally another tropical wave will move off of Africa and could eventually have some slow organization. I give this one a small chance of development. Remember August is a busy month for tropical activity, so be prepared.

Rain: Sunday has about a 50% chance to have thunderstorms and showers throughout the county.
